Just One Man’s Opinion: Most Impressive Student/Athlete in WNBA Draft?

Temi Fagbenle.

Starts Playing hoops in 9th grade • Graduates from Blair Academy as a McDonald’s All-America • NCAA strips her of freshman eligibility (Says she is attending college for “athletic advantage”). She goes to HARVARD! • Unable to play her freshman year, she trains and makes Great Britain Olympic Team. Starts for GB in 2012 London Olympics. • Earns All-Ivy at Harvard. Graduates Harvard and NCAA returns her 4th year of eligibility. • Transfers to USC, and begins graduate studies in Public Relations & Strategic Planning at world-renowned Annenberg School of Communications. • Leads USC Basketball: All-PAC12/All-America Honorable Mention • Skips 2016 WNBA season to finish her graduate studies at USC-Annenberg…Nevertheless, WNBA Champion Minnesota Links draft her in 3rd Round.

In my mind, the most impressive athlete in the WNBA draft. Coach Rich Leary
